InterOPERA has completed the commissioning of HVDC equipment at two test facilities: RTE in France and TU Delft in the Netherlands.
GE Vernova team delivered and commissioned the equipment, that is now ready for testing and integration. This step allows the project to advance its work on multi-terminal HVDC systems and ensuring components from different suppliers can be interoperable.
These will lay the groundwork for the next phase of the project, which will focus on detailed testing and validation of HVDC systems under realistic operating conditions.
