InterOPERA 2nd Technical Workshop

On 28 August, InterOPERA hosted its 2nd technical workshop with the members of the Stakeholder Committee in Paris, in parallel with the CIGRE conference 2024.

This Committee was created to ensure that stakeholders impacted by the project’s results are exclusively informed on a regular basis on the project status and results, provide feedback and inputs to the project deliverables.

During the event, HVDC experts from InterOPERA presented 3 different reports focusing on different workstreams.

The agenda covered insights into the functional requirements for HVDC grid systems and subsystems, alongside the grid-forming functional requirements for HVDC converter stations and DC-connected PPMs.

Part of the workshop was also focused on defining a standard process for interaction studies using EMT simulation in multi-vendor projects.

The experts, members of the Stakeholder Committee had the chance to provide inputs and feedback on these reports and relevant on-going activities. InterOPERA will take into consideration the outcome of the fruitful discussion during the workshop for both upcoming reports and related project workstreams.
