The InterOPERA project has reached another significant milestone in its mission to develop a real-time demonstrator for a multi-vendor, multi-terminal HVDC grid. During the last week of November, a replica of the DC Grid Controller (DCGC), supplied by SuperGrid Institute, was successfully installed at TU Delf’s facilities. The installation took place over three days, from Monday to Wednesday.
In the coming months, the project will progressively receive cubicles from additional vendors. These components will be integrated into the system for the next phase: dry-run tests, which play a crucial role in mitigating risks associated with the real-time demonstrator.
