Leaders and key contributors from the InterOPERA Work Package 4 (Cooperation Framework and Governance) and Work Package 5 (Procurement Strategy & Future Projects Preparation) gathered at @50hertz Netzquartier building in Berlin Germany from 15-18 April to commence a joint 3-day workshop, the results of which will be made public in due time.
During the first day, discussed the status and updates from the 2 work packages followed by a workshop focused on how the present form of the demonstrator could enable the procurement strategy for future multi-vendor multi-terminal (MVMT) systems.
On day 2 the focus was on building the first commercial scale MVMT projects and multiple workshops were conducted to define the process and determine the roles, duties and responsibilities of different parties in future MVMT projects. Furthermore, functional contractual lot setup and specific procurement questions were aligned upon for these extremely complicated projects with numerous stakeholders.
Finally, Day 3 concluded the workshop by identifying interfaces between WPs 4 and 5 and by determining the way forward for the open tasks in these 2 WPs.
In the workshop participated physically and remotely 35 representatives from 19 InterOPERA partners.
