The 4th General Assembly sets the stage for Europe’s HVDC interoperability

From 28 to 30 January, the InterOPERA partners gathered in Berlin for the 4th General Assembly. The event united 21 partners from across Europe to examine technical frameworks and interoperability challenges that will shape the future of multi-vendor HVDC grids.

Over the three-day session, participants followed a robust agenda covering project progress and long-term objectives across six Work Packages. Attendees engaged in hands-on workshops covering risk review, real-time demonstrators, system integration, and the formulation of exploitation plans.

This was combined with a series of in-depth discussions to explore methods for enhancing compatibility among HVDC systems. The assembly provided not only a forum for technical exchange but also offered a networking opportunity among the partners, all set within the historic venue hosted by Siemens Energy.
